1. Product Information

Elegant Shutters supplies a range of premium window coverings and home improvement products, including shutters, blinds, laminate flooring, and decking.
All products are custom-made to client specifications and manufactured to order.

2. Orders & Payments

• A 70% deposit is required before manufacturing will commence.

• The remaining 30% balance is payable upon installation or delivery.

• Payments can be made via EFT or any other agreed-upon method.

• Orders will only be confirmed once payment has reflected in our account.

3. Lead Times

• Standard lead time is 20–30 working days from the date of deposit payment.

• Lead times may vary depending on product type, availability, and location.

• In the event of supplier delays or unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you promptly.

4. Installation

• Installation will be scheduled for a mutually agreed date.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the installation site.

• Elegant Shutters is not liable for delays caused by inaccessible or unsafe sites.

5. Warranty

Our products are covered by a warranty for manufacturing defects and workmanship.
The warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage caused by water, damp, or exposure to harsh elements

• Improper use, self-installation, or accidental damage

• Modifications or repairs carried out by third parties

6. Returns & Cancellations

• All products are custom-made and therefore non-refundable.

• Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of placing the order to qualify for a refund.

• Cancellations made after this period may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

7. Liability

Elegant Shutters is not responsible for:

• Damage or fitment issues resulting from incorrect measurements not taken by our team

• Structural issues at the premises that may affect installation

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or installation of our products

8. Privacy

We respect and protect your privacy. Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of processing your order and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved under South African jurisdiction.
